Shipping & Delivery

Many items on our website ship from our warehouse and can be delivered the day after the order date.  If you’re entire order qualifies for UPS shipping, your shipping & handling charges will be shown before you complete your order. Most larger and heavier items ship via truck line and require a shipping & handling quote. Your order will tell you which items these are. In most cases, our website will automatically calculate and display your shipping quote. Sometimes, however, we need to calculate these manually to ensure that you get the lowest price. For larger orders, a Design School & Office Furniture representative will contact you and let you know how much we will charge you for shipping. 

 
Tracking Your Order
If you’ve already submitted your order, you can check the status of your order by visiting the Order Status page. Further questions can be answered by our Customer Service department at 773-253-4883, extension 4.

What information do we collect?

Design School & Office Furniture may collect and store any information you provide to our website or phone representatives. We keep a record of the information you provide us when you create an account, place an order, email, call or fax us. This helps us process and track your orders for you. It also helps us provide you with a more personalized experience if you shop with us again. We keep track of such things as:

 

  • Your name
  • Your shipping address
  • Your billing address
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your credit card number

 

You may change your information at any time by clicking the My Account link at the top of our site, signing in and clicking "Edit Account." We'll also be happy to change this information for you or remove you from our records if you call Customer Service at 773-253-4883. 

Return Policy

You are responsible for inspecting your merchandise when it is delivered. If there is excessive damage or the shipment is incorrect, you should refuse the shipment and call us immediately. As long as you contact us within two weeks of receipt, any item that is damaged when it arrives or that does not arrive as ordered (size, color, or features were not as you specified) will be promptly replaced by us at no additional cost to you. If you order something and it arrives as ordered but you subsequently decide you want or need to return it, you will be responsible for all shipping charges, including return charges. You must contact us within 2 weeks to return these items. In some cases, you will need to pay a restocking fee of 15-30% as well. 

All items must be in the original carton, unassembled and unused. Please note that returns cannot be made after the product has been assembled. Custom orders are non-returnable. Some products are considered custom items and are non-returnable. Please call us at 773-253-4883 for details.
